Top Colours To Wear This Autumn

There are beginning to be signs of autumn in the air, from falling leaves to shorter days, which is the perfect time for people to get out knitted jumpers and corduroy skirts and embrace autumn fashion.

One of the things that defines style in the fall more than anything is colour, with the bright or pastel shades of the summer being swapped for burnt oranges, striking magentas and autumnal browns.

Here are the top colours you should consider wearing in AW22.

- Chocolate

Catwalks all showcased chocolate colours for the season in a throwback look to the ‘90s. Although Who What Wear said this once used to be a “divisive” colour, it is now “largely adored in fashion circles”, so make sure you invest in chocolate-coloured boots, a matching leather skirt and a faux fur hat in deep dark brown this autumn.

- Cobalt blue

Before you start dressing to match the autumnal landscape, it isn’t just oranges, reds and browns that will dominate fashion this season, as cobalt blue is going to be huge.

Women all over the country will brighten up their wardrobe with shocking blue jumpsuits, sweaters, blouses, scarves, and even shoes.

Of this trend, Vogue stated: “This bright blue hue has been trending on the runway for some time now and has finally made its way to the streets.”

- Barbie pink

Another intense bright shade for the season is Barbie pink, thanks to the upcoming Barbie movie staring Margot Robbie.

Valentino proved Barbicore is going to be huge this year by featuring the colour in almost half of the latest collection.

Indeed, “the pink movement is anything but subsiding”, according to Vogue.

To vamp up your wardrobe this autumn, take a look at this brown and white scarf, which is perfect for the new season.
